Tips, tippers and tippees or whatever.

Days ago I read an article about a LeSean McCoy from the NFL team Philadelphia eagles that left a 20 cent tip on a bar over a 60 dollar bill.

I heard people outraging because it was a very small tip, and the owner of the bar published the bill with the 20 cent tip and the signature of the guy on it. Also the owner trashed LeSean saying that the waiter gave him a great service and he is a millionaire so he should have gave her at least a 20% tip, at least 12 dollars for all of you who doesn’t  want to calculate it.

LeSean said that the service wasn’t good, so that was reflected on the tip. So who do we believe? The owner who never will admit that his restaurant gave poor service or the guy who say it wasn’t a good waitress?

Well is easy, tipping is not a responsibility, tipping is a gesture that says “you worked great here is a little something” and is a little something, is not like there should be a rule, or you have to tip everybody because is part of the job description. The waiters and waitresses have a salary, waiter is a paid job and tips are the extra. Yes they expect to have some extra cash but is extra they shouldn’t count on it as part of their payment, because that destroys the whole meaning of tips, if you are already counting on the tip you are not going to give that extra mile for the chance to have some extra cash.

That point bring me to my other point, it is LeSean money if he wants he can leave 1,000 dollars tip or none, no matter how hard the waiter had worked if he doesn’t believe in that he has the right to just pay his tab and leave, no matter how much money he makes now. You know how long a NFL career is average? 3 years, so if he waste his money those 3 years he will be homeless the rest of his life. And NFL players have bad knees so they can be waiters.

I'm with you man, if the service isn't good there will be no tip.

Who is the bad guy here, the government and the restaurant owner, why? Because on Pensilvania the law says that you can pay $2.83 an hour to anyone who receives tips, and in that restaurant the tips are divided among everybody waiters, busboys, bartenders, and cooks. So that jerk of an owner called Tommy Up is fucking everybody paying a sub-slave salary and now throwing insults to the clients because this poor people make too little money.

This owner is the real jerk here, and now he is insulting a guy who fucked up his knees and get concussions for a living because he is not paying a fair salary and the waiter need more money.

Time ago I was broke (as usual) and I went to a dinner with friends, so a friend pay for my dinner. The service was terrible, it took them close to 2 hours to bring our food and the waitress was nowhere to be found all night except when she said “are you going to stay longer? Because we need the table” in other words she was kicking us out. So my friends pay and a girl said “we have to put a 20% tip” I remained silent but thought “that woman don’t deserve a dime!” my friends put on a tip of around 70 dollars (we were a big table) and left. I tip when the service and the food was good and I like it, but that night was horrible.

What I want to say is, fair payment to employees and tip if you want, but don’t attack somebody for not tipping.

Pritz or Baby Metal?

 

Many people pointed (not on the comments but by inbox and mail –What’s the problem with comment on my blog? I’ll never know-) that last post wasn’t that much of a comparison but an analysis of the band Pritz, and that I should get into it better, showing why this bands are different and not just the flaws or points of one band but to show each band, so now here I give you the dissection of both bands.

Both bands might look like the same for people how don’t pay attention or don’t care, but they are very different. Frist we will start with the singers.

Baby Metal has the lead singer Su-Metal and to support singer/dancers Yui-Metal and Moa-Metal. This means that the main part of the song Su sings while Yui and Moa yell, back up chorus or dance, but the song is mainly Su singing.

Pritz have 4 front girls, they dance a similar choreography and sing equal parts of the songs, and there is not one face to the group but 4. Everybody is a backup of the other girls losing identity and melting into a chorus the whole group.

In metal bands there is only one lead singer like in Baby Metal where Su is the front and lead.

The sound of the songs is very important in the pop bands where they are 4 or 5 they voice is the most important, the music made by the instruments is just a guide and with a little vocalization you can remove totally the instruments. But in Metal the voice is just a part of the band, if you try to make the song without the instruments you lose a lot of the song. Pritz continues with the format of classic K-Pop and Baby Metal uses the style of a metal band.

I mean they are 4 and the 4 are important but that leave behind the music and lyrics. Someone had to pay.

The songs by itself are way different Pritz uses a format of K-pop of getting a really simple lyrics and hammer over the chorus over and is a chorus that is really easy and catchy, while Baby Metal uses a metal format, that is a song a little more complex (I say a little because isn’t difficult) but as I said, when you have 4 different front girls you can’t make a song without leaving at least one of the girls out.

The format of the songs themselves are different, because Baby Metal uses almost the ‘80s metal template where the song has its instrumental breaks and the musicians show their abilities, and Pritz while they did it on the last video Sorasora, the rest look more like classic K-Pop.

The change in rhythm is a classic of Baby Metal, changing from metal to J-pop or hip hop, anything goes, things that you thing to different collide and show you that can be part of the same song, while Pritz uses changes too this ones sound more organic and smooth too much that can pass without notice.

Baby Metal created its own way of metal while Pritz created heavy K-pop.

 
So to conclude they are different, is like when people compared Metal Gear and Siphon Filter there is no big thing to compare because they are not on the same track. In other words consume what you like.

Pritz the Korean Baby Metal or something completely different.

I just heard of a band called Pritz, is a K-Pop band that is called by some the Korean response to Baby Metal, what I think is dumb because it has almost nothing alike.

Before going into details of why I think is something completely different let’s have a look on how K-pop works.

Well they make castings like any other prefabricated band but they make castings years before to train and educate the new “Idols” because obviously they are going to be famous, so they have their own school and classes to sing and dance and after that they release the new big band that Korea will consume for a couple of years until the new band is ready.

Wait a second, there are 5 girls in the video but only 4 in the band.

That is sand but honest and I support that because I like honest, but now this band Pritz is kind of a misfire for me because they were supposed be on the idea of super heroes, power rangers, sailor scouts, some kind of group of heroes that sing and dance, and you can see that on the video "Go girls!" Where they are some kind of 3D anime, and is kind of fun and I thought it was a fun way to present the group. Some people call this video oversexed and inapropiated, well that is just because of the art by looking like chibi anime, but there is a million animes that made the same, is to give the fun and comedic part to a anime, and is done also to characters with sexy outfits, yes some of the shots on the video are directly to the crotch, ass and cleavage well I give you that. But on the other hand, the song says "I'm a lady not a girl anymore" so it says that has grow up so making it sexy is a part of it too, so it make sense to get some T&A in the video.

No much of an outfit for super heroines.

Then you have “Too difficult ~Oh Eh Oh Eh~” that continues with the vibe of super heroines with a problem Power Rangers style and the song is quite similar so the same identity, I would like that they kept some characteristics of the other video so they could be tell apart not as a group but individuals, I’m not saying stay with the super short skirts, big cleavage and bikinis, but the cat, bunny, fox ears, or the hats, the wings, the colours, anything, not the same costume for all of them, even the power rangers got different colours, but anyway second video is starting to show the path of the band.

I just don't get the mascot thing, is a Korean thing?

After that we have “Melon Melon Watermelon” that has nothing to do with the other songs, I don’t know about the lyrics because I don’t speak Korean but the others some sort of rhythm and the chorus where really marked but here is just a soft song, that is OK still in the margins of the band, the video while is a nonstop sequence and that is always to applaud there are no elements of the past two videos, the clothes are different and looks like it was they had in storage, there is the mascot of the last video and a new one that is, you guess it, a watermelon, but there are no much of a similarity on this one to the others, but let’s just see it as an easy way out to keep it fresh

I don't get who can get offended by them.

But then we have the last one “Sorasora” that now the song somehow fits on the style of the first 2 but now it has heavier guitars and drums, also the clothes change again to a darker look, this could have been a great first video, to present a heavy girls band but you see them on her fourth video, with now a darker look and spelling the band’s name is kind of shake because I just can think “so are they a cute band, that act like super heroines, are a dark band, or just a cute dumb band?” this last video has a much better rhythm for me, but it still feels like most of K-pop bands that exist. Also I think that thing with the mascots threw me out of the video, they could have used the guys with the skull masks, or the bandages and that way it could be a good looking video. Like Baby Metal does, that the band get the skull outfits, the fox or ghosts depending on the song.

There is a lot of controversy about the arm bands that the band use in this video, well I just can say WWII ended 70 year ago! Let it go! That is a way to give colour to the wardrobe of the band, now that is all black, I embroider the coat of Helghast on my suitcase and yes I get some weird looks on the airport but people worries too much, I think it looks good if they want a darker look.

Some Metal Magazines call “Pritz” the Korean rival of “Baby Metal” but I don’t think so. I mean the format of K-Pop is a factory and the girls of the band were trained to be some sort of band and I think that at the end the producers tried to change it and resulted on a prefabricated band trying to find its own identity.

I thought I’ll never live to see that.

Sailor Moon Bathing Suits and Selfies

I was going to wait a couple of posts more till I post this one but the amount of pictures that I collected is so big that I think I have to share it with the world.

First let me explain that this is a continuation of the last post about Sailor Moon Lingerie so, let us see what was left to say.

First I want to call your attention to the bathing suits with sailor moon theme, they look like the underwear but are bathing suits, these ones are sold in Aliexpress and look good too, but you can use them on the pool better than the lingerie. Then again, are cute and sexy at the same time.

But then looking a little on the web, I wanted to know who that girl on the picture was, so I started to look, and I got elbow deep in this matter, not only girls on cosplay, but guys too, some really big and hairy guys from which I will not talk about, I found a ton of pictures of girls wearing the lingerie on selfies, photo shoots and conventions, YES! Girls go to Anime Expo, Fan Expo, Comicons, and more wearing this lingerie, isn’t that great? :D

So at the end of the day I knew that the name of the girl of the previous post was Itsuki Akira and that she is a Japanese cosplayer, but also I ended with a bunch of pictures of girls, most of them cosplayers, wearing the outfits.

Some of the pictures look more professional than others but beautiful all of them.

First the Bathing Suits, which I already said you can find in Aliexpress, they look good cost 10 dollars and have good reviews, but what do you think?
